MAKADI

SOMA BAY
is a coastal resort on the red sea in Egypt, 45 km south of Hurgada international airport and about 28 km north of Safaga port. The self-contained community of Soma bay is located on a peninsula surrounded on all sides by the sea. About 5 km in length and 2 km wide, the peninsula is accessed via a 7 km private road through a single controlled entry gate. Leisure activities at Soma bay include red sea diving at its reef and other nearby diving sites. The six resorts (Kempinski, Sheraton, Robenson club, The Cascades, Mövenpick and The Breakers diving and surfing Lodge.) have access to an 18-hole, 72 par championship golf courses and golf academy. Soma bay also has one of the largest Spas and Thalassotherapy centered in the region. Water sports are popular due to the prevailing winds which allow for windsurfing, Kite surfing and sailing. Soma bay also has several residential compounds as it has become increasingly popular with Egyptian and foreign tourists. It is divided into a number of areas including Soma breeze, Mesca, Reef town, Wadi Jabal, Bay west and Bay central.
SAHL HASHEESH
means “Green Valley” in Arabic. Many years ago the area was called Isis. Isis was a major trading port, until one day it went under water. The resort was designed by a team of architects under the direction of Norman Foster, and envisages the preservation of the natural landscape. Only 14% of the resort will be developed, leaving the rest to exotic gardens, man-made canals and lagoons, and golf courses. The resort is under construction, hotels are starting to open and the area is being developed as we speak. The area has everything needed for everyday life including Supermarket Bestway, cafes, restaurants, shopping centres, business centres, night club "Bus Stop", beautiful grounds with its own pools, beaches and promenade. A 12 km promenade complex, the jewel in the centre is Fountain Square with panoramic views of the entire coastline. On
the downside, the rental price is high. it is the most expensive area of Hurghada which means its great for investment but not for living. Putting aside the infrastructure outside the complex and the lack of public transport to other areas and the city centre. Properties in Sahl Hashesh is premium class.
EL GOUNA
is a modern resort town built in the middle of the desert on Egypt's Red sea coast, near hurghada. The city was built in 1990 according to a single design by American and European architects to resemble traditional rural Egyptian architecture such as that found in the Egyptian countryside and in Nubian villages. El Gouna is commonly referred to as the 'Venice of Egypt' as the concept was based on the construction of the resort on man- made islands, for which numerous canals were dug. Also, it specializes in water sports. There are several beaches, including Zetona beach located on its own island, Mangroovy beach, Moods beach and other hotel beaches. There are three main areas in EL Gouna, Downtown, Tamer Henna square and The Abu Tig marina. It also has a Mosque and a Coptic church. El Gouna offers premium accommodation- Luxury villas and houses.
Marsa alam
is known as an Egyptian Maldives with its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear water. It's a common site for tourists to see the marine wildlife.
